Missions We Support

  • Samaritan's Purse                                                                                                                    Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to victims of war, natural disasters, disease, famine, poverty and persecution in more than 100 countries, with the purpose of sharing God’s love through His son, Jesus Christ.                                                                                                      Gideon International                                                                                                               We are a body of believers dedicated to making the Word of God available to everyone and, together with the local church, reaching souls for Christ. The Gideons International is the result of a meeting between two men who wished to band commercial travelers together for evangelism. What began in 1908 as an Association of Christian businessmen placing Bibles in hotel rooms has evolved into an expanding mission to provide Scriptures to all people in nearly every facet of life. Today, we have taken more than 2 billion Scriptures in more than 95 languages to 200 countries, territories, and possessions across the globe.

We exist as an advocate for the lost, to bring them the saving knowledge of the Word through not only placing and distributing Scriptures, but also through personal witnessing and by associating together for service. As a united force for the Gospel, we remain rooted in tradition, but we operate under the firm belief that anyone can be a valuable asset to this invaluable cause. We provide many opportunities to partner with us through either prayer or financial support. Join us, and let's spread the Good News.

Missionary Flights International

Don Beldin was just one man flying a small single-engine airplane in the 1960s for Youth for Christ evangelis in the Bahamas. Responding to need, Don began transporting other missionaries and equipment in his plane. In 1964, the Lord guided Don to incorporate Missionary Flights International (MFI) to meet the growing needs of Bible-centered missions. The need for air service increased, so MFI acquired larger planes and added new countries. After 42 years in West Palm Beach, MFI moved to Fort Pierce, FL in 2006. Today, MFI operates out of two hangars flying turbine-  powered DC-3s to meet the needs of over 450 missions in the Bahamas, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and  wherever the Lord directs. About 300 tons of cargo and 4,000 Christian workers are transported every year.                                                                                                                                                                           Pastor Wes Tink  Front Step Inc.                                                                                               This organization works with the people of the Stenton Park nieghborhood of Philidelphia to accomplish positive outcomes to real challenges. Front Step exist to enhance the quality of family life in this urban community.  They practice effective methods in relation to poverty, health and education by the application of hope,  wisdom,   experience   and   joy.                                                                                                                                                     Presbyterian Layman                                                                                                                           The Presbyterian Lay Committee Inc. is building on its tradition and expanding its audience with the vision of seeing every Christian equipped to engage the culture in ways that honor Jesus.  The Layman was born out of necessity by Lay Leaders of the Church as they rejected the liberal views and policies of the PCUSA. In 1965 the PCUSA adopted a New Confession which contains, among other liberal teachings this statement   "the sciptures are nevertheless the words of men".   Just that one phrase has the effect of stripping the Bible of it's Authority.  Fifty years later we live with the fall out of the moral revolution in which the Church has participated.  We at Holland Bible Church continue to support the Layman in their continued effort against these liberal teachings .                                                                                                                      Cheryl Keiper                                                                                                                                     Director of Residential Services
